Honored to be a panel speaker at the iconic VULNCON 2025 conference recently at Bangalore. Alongside senior leaders Praga (Pragatheesh) and Manikant R Singh moderated by Sudhir Goel, we deliberated on “Global Cybersecurity Leadership: What CISOs Need in 2025 and Beyond” covering different aspects of the evolving CISO role: – threat landscape redefining security responsibilities for global CISOs – biggest challenges in hiring, training, and retaining top cybersecurity talent – handling the growing complexity of cross-border regulations and data sovereignty – using AI and automation to reduce complexity and accelerate defense – CISO priorities for 2025 and much more With multiple tracks, keynotes, tech sessions, hacking villages, panel discussions, CTFs the learning spirit was in full flow. The vibes, energy & enthusiasm of the predominantly young attendees many of them from Gen Z to learn was infectious and the venue – the hallowed precincts of JN Tata Auditorium at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) made it all the more apt for the vibrant conference. For sure, Vulncon has become a big brand and must attend conference in a short time since its debut.
