Bachelor of Science in Aviation / Aeronautical Science

The B. Sc. Aviation / Aeronautical Science programme at Alliance University, Bengaluru, offered in collaboration with Cockpit Aviation, prepares students to become skilled professionals in one of the world’s most dynamic industries.

Designed for those passionate about the science, technology, and management of flight, the programme integrates classroom learning, simulation-based training, and live industry exposure.

Students develop a strong foundation in aeronautical science, airline and airport management, air traffic control, and flight operations, aligning with DGCA standards and the evolving needs of the global aviation ecosystem.

Duration

3 Years / 6 Semesters

PEO (Program Educational Objectives)

PEO 1:
Graduates will acquire strong foundations in aviation science, aeronautical principles, and regulatory frameworks to understand and manage aviation operations effectively.

PEO 2:
Graduates will apply technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills to support safe, efficient, and sustainable aviation operations across airlines, airports, ATC, and related domains.

PEO 3:
Graduates will demonstrate professional ethics, safety consciousness, leadership qualities, and effective communication skills required for responsible roles in the aviation industry.

PEO 4:
Graduates will engage in lifelong learning and adapt to emerging aviation technologies, global regulations, sustainability practices, and advanced operational systems.

PSO (Program Specific Outcomes)

PSO 1:
Apply aviation-specific knowledge in aerodynamics, aircraft systems, navigation, meteorology, air traffic management, and aviation law to solve operational and safety-related problems.

PSO 2:
Demonstrate proficiency in aviation operations, simulation tools, safety management systems, and regulatory compliance aligned with national and international aviation standards.

PSO 3:
Exhibit industry readiness through internships, capstone projects, simulator training, and professional certifications leading to aviation career pathways or higher studies.

Program Eligibility Criteria

10+2 from a recognized Board / Council with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.

Science stream (with Physics and Mathematics preferred) and a minimum of 50% aggregate in 10+2 are eligible.

A relaxation of 5% marks or equivalent grade is allowed for candidates belonging to SC / ST categories.
