Bachelor of Computer Applications (Honours)

The programme is designed to provide students with a thorough and in-depth understanding of various facets within the field of computer science and applications. The curriculum emphasizes a rigorous academic approach, covering core computer science topics such as programming languages (C++, Java, Python), data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles. Starting from the third semester, the program delves into specialized areas like Graphics and Animation, Game Development, UI and UX Design, VR and AR, Computer Animation, and Computer Vision. These modules offer a comprehensive exploration of concepts, techniques, and tools, ensuring students are well-equipped for the dynamic and evolving landscape of the computing industry.

Additionally, the programme integrates hands-on project work, where students engage in practical projects related to game development, graphics design, or other relevant areas. Collaborative projects, including the design and implementation of games or graphics applications, provide students with valuable teamwork experience.

Furthermore, the curriculum emphasizes real-world exposure through internships and industry projects with gaming studios, animation companies, or IT firms specializing in graphics technology. This holistic approach ensures that graduates emerge not only with theoretical knowledge but also with practical skills and industry-ready expertise.
