Shaping the
Changemakersof Tomorrow
Our Young Leaders’ Alliance (YLA) is a thoughtfully curated 10-day residential summer programme designed to broaden perspectives and spark ambition among high school students (Grades IX–XII) from India and around the world.
We create an immersive environment that goes beyond conventional classrooms, allowing young minds to engage with real-world challenges through interdisciplinary learning and experiential exploration.
Built on insights from faculty associated with leading global institutions such as Oxford, Stanford, the IITs, and the IIMs, YLA is shaped around the capabilities that define future-ready leadership. We place strong emphasis on critical thinking, creativity, problem-solving, and adaptability.
Through interactive sessions, themed workshops, and collaborative projects, students experience the intellectual depth and inclusive culture of university life. Along the way, they build confidence, perspective, and practical skills that support their transition to higher education and prepare them for the pathways ahead.
YLA equips students with a blend of cognitive, creative, and interpersonal skills that extend well beyond classroom knowledge. It transforms young learners into confident, reflective, and globally aware thinkers prepared to navigate future opportunities.
Build critical thinking and problem-solving skills through hands-on projects and discussions.
Gain clarity on career pathways and academic interests through curated sessions and expert insights.
Strengthen communication, collaboration, and leadership through group work and thematic explorations.
Experience thematic workshops, talk series, and interactive sessions that develop confidence and curiosity.
Enhance personal branding, fitness, cultural awareness, and lifelong connections through a diverse range of activities.
YLA is more than a programme — it is a vibrant journey of learning, exploration, teamwork, and discovery. Through skill workshops, thematic sessions, group projects, fitness and cultural activities, and personal development experiences, students create lasting memories and friendships.

Dr. Majumdar carried out her post-doctoral studies at the department of Biotechnology in IIT Madras from 2014 to 2020. Her post-doctoral research focused on understanding the role of common food adulterants, such as trans fatty acids, in inducing ischemic stroke in young adults. She obtained a doctoral degree from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Kolkata (IISER-Kolkata) in 2014. Her doctoral research examined the role of innate immune system cells, specifically brain-derived microglia, in Mouse Hepatitis Virus (a member of the coronavirus family) induced neuroinflammation and demyelination in an experimental mouse model. She has also gained experience as a predoctoral fellow at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia in a collaborative project where she got trained in primary cell culture. She has also worked in the industry at PierianDx and Excelra Knowledge Solutions, analyzing cancer patient-derived data and exploring how conventional therapy and clinical trials could improve patient outcomes.
