Mr. Basavaraj V Kย is a Qualified Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, New Delhi. He has a work experience of 30 years in the field of Finance and Accounts. He has been heading the department of 20 team members of finance and accounts department of Alliance University since 2018. He has a vast experience in finalization of accounts, tax related matters and financial (Fund) management.
He exercises general supervision over the funds of the university. He monitors the regular maintenance of books of accounts. He has been instrumental in preparing the financial budget which ensures proper fund management. He has been interacting with statutory auditors, internal auditors and company secretary regarding the finalization of accounts compliance of applicable laws such as income tax and company law.
He has been a member of the Finance committee, Fee regulation committee and Scholarship committee of the university. He has the ability to manage complex finance, accounting and tax related matters.
Mr. Basavaraj V K has experience in various fields as a partner with reputed Chartered Accountants firms handling Concurrent Audit and Branch Statutory Audit of Banks and Internal Audits. He has conducted Statutory Audit of Public Sector Unit Karnataka Infrastructure Urban Development Corporation including certifying the their various projects and IRCON. He has also carried out Central Statutory Audit of State Bank of Saurashtra and State Bank of India, Karnataka zone in the year 2008,2009 and 2010.
