About the Department

At our school, we hold sacred the rich traditions of Indian classical dances, Carnatic music, Theatre, Contemporary style and Indology. Students are immersed in the cultural ethos, learning not only the intricate dance forms but also the underlying philosophies and historical significance of each movement. Through rigorous training, they embody the essence of our cultural heritage, ensuring its preservation and evolution.

Central to our ethos is the guidance provided by seasoned masters of Indian classical dance. Each student receives personalized attention and mentorship from these eminent figures, who impart not just technical prowess but also the nuances that define each dance style. This focused teaching approach ensures that every student develops a deep understanding and mastery of their chosen dance form.

Recognizing the need for versatility in today's performing arts landscape, our school offers specialized training that goes beyond dance techniques. Students have the opportunity to explore interdisciplinary subjects such as music, nattuvangom, costume design, and choreography. This holistic approach not only enhances their performance skills but also equips them to become well-rounded artists capable of contributing creatively across various artistic domains. They are prepared for the Research study as they advance by imbibing in them the interest to explore the details and theory in dance.
