Dr. Syed Alay Hashim

Dr Syed Alay Hashim holds a PhD in Aerospace Engineering from IIT Kharagpur, with specialisation in aircraft and rocket propulsion. During his doctoral research, he developed systems for processing and testing hybrid fuels and propellants, contributing to advancements in propulsion experimentation.

With over a decade of experience in teaching and research, his work spans ducted rocket propulsion, ramjets, energetic nanoparticle combustion, and micro gas turbine engines. His current research focuses on advancing boron combustion technologies for ducted rocket applications, supporting the development of high-performance propulsion systems.
