Aims and Objectives

Understanding the constitutional law and its practical application in formulating a rights-based legal order.
Undertaking empirical studies in constitutional and human rights law and deconstructing the working of the law in the larger context of existing
socio-political institutions to make legal and policy reforms.
Recognizing intersectional marginalization and reflecting the same in constitutional law and human rights research.
Engaging in firsthand analyses of human rights issues towards rights based legal and policy reforms.
Creating and imparting knowledge and research concerning human rights and constitutional law through publications, programs, and other means.
Discerning to build qualities among our members, of true allyship and solidarity with marginalized communities.

Goals

Long Term Goals

Instituting a robust research center concerning constitutional law and human rights
Building awareness on fundamental and constitutional rights with continuous engagement with marginalized communities, civil society groups and the government
Collaborating with the Government, NGOs, and think tanks, to make policy and legal interventions

Short Term Goals

Organizing meaningful events of discussion and debate on constitutional matters having human rights implications
Inviting eminent scholars and community leaders to provide insights towards propelling research at our Centre
Publishing monthly newsletters on laws and policies having constitutional and human rights significance
Growing a strong sense of social responsibility amongst our members and subscribers
