Mission

Driven by Our Vision

The Alliance Moot Court Society aims to encourage and inculcate advocacy skills in law students. The mission is to provide opportunities for law students to hone their written and oral advocacy skills and prepare them to succeed in their professional careers.

Guided by Our Mission

To Organize Intra-Moot Court Competitions and prepare the students to face external moot court competitions. Teams are to be selected based on their performance in the Intra-moot Court Competitions and the experienced mooters and faculty advisors would guide them in their respective national and international moot court competitions.
To Organize demonstrations and workshops of mooting related activities for the 1^st and 2^nd year students to introduce them to the intricacies of mooting and encourage participation.

Moot Court

A moot court is a replica of real court proceedings. The purpose of moot court competitions is to make students aware of the court proceedings related to disputes between parties.

AMCC aims to conduct one Intra and on Inter University Moot Court Competition every year in order to overall legal development of students. Moot courts have two teams- Defendants and Respondents.

The mooting presents a hypothetical case and both teams are required to research it and represent their arguments. It is used as tool of persuasive advocacy to train the future generation of lawyers

Trial Advocacy

Trial Advocacy is a competition to cultivate, enhance, appreciate, honor and reward the trial legal skills amongst law students. It is to simulate real trial court's scenarios, imparting training to participants in legal practices and to promote competitive spirit to ensure the development of advocacy finesse.

It involves the whole trial process unlike Moot. Students in Trial Advocacy represent a party, prepare a case for trial and try the case before judges, who are usually law professors, and even from judiciary.

Debate

In competitive debates, teams compete against each other and are judged the winner by a list of criteria that is usually based around the concepts of "content, style, and strategy". It involves formal disclosure on a particular topic on both pro and con sides.

Client Counselling

The Client Counseling competition addresses fundamental skills necessary for all successful attorneys, namely the ability to interview, counsel, and support a client through their legal issue. Competitors conduct an initial interview with a person playing the role of the client and then address both the client’s legal and non-legal needs. Students are called on to explain various aspects of the attorney-client relationship, build rapport, determine client goals, and consider applicable law and options that may be available to the client.

Judgement Writing

The judgement writing competition involves a comprehensive approach towards law in terms of theory and implication of law. The legal arguments on facts and situations with legal precedents and reasoning pave way for judgement writing.

Parliamentary Debate

Parliamentary debates are a great platform for law students to ingrain confidence and finesse in expression. In Parliamentary Debate competition there are two teams comprising three members each, one team speaking in favor of the motion, known as ‘the Government’ and the other team speaks averse, known as ‘the Opposition’.

The speakers from the government side are Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister and Government Whip. Similarly, the speakers from the Opposition side are Leader of Opposition, Deputy Leader of Opposition and the Opposition Whip.

Engaging Experiences Beyond the Classroom

Our events provide meaningful platforms for participation, learning, and collaboration. Through competitions, workshops, and interactive initiatives, students gain opportunities to apply their knowledge, develop essential skills, and engage with their academic community in dynamic ways.

Celebrating Excellence in Advocacy

The team comprising of Yutika G Doshi, Gnanasree Nagavelly and Sian Khandpur secured the Runners-Up position in the SPARKLE 6.0 – National Moot Court Competition 2025 organised by KLE College of Law, Mumbai.
The team comprising of Rithika Cherukat, Bhavya Srivastava and Asha Pauline achieved the Runners- Up position in the 11th V. S. Mani Memorial International Law Moot Court Competition, 2025.
The team consisting of Vunnam Dharani Krishna, Gilbo Christ. E and Abu Bakar. M emerged as the Winners of SATYANVESHI 2.0 conducted at Shantaram College, Chandrapur Maharashtra, 2025. Further, Vunnam Dharani Krishna was awarded the Best Speaker.
The team consisting of Niharika Batra, Aniza KB and Aarsha Narayanan achieved the Runners-Up position in the 2nd Mount Zion National Moot Court Competition 2025 conduction by Mount Zion Law College.
The team consisting of Megha Lunia, Neyah M and Amukta S secured the Runners-Up position in the 3rd National moot court competition held by Dr. D.Y Patil College of Law, Navi Mumbai 2025.

The team comprising of Mahi Ajay Shrivastava, Anoushka Kumar and Priya Chandlekar emerged as the Winners of B M Sreenivasaiah Memorial 10th Moot Court Competition, 2025.
The team comprising of Dimple Ganiga P, Chukki Anagha C and Kondala Phani Priya secured the Second Runners-Up position in the 5th St. Joseph's College of Law National Moot Court Competition, 2025. Further, Chukki Anagha C was awarded the Best Speaker.
The team consisting of Moksha Deepak Jain, Dhairya Anand and Vedant Bhagat achieved the Runners-Up position in the Kristu Jayanti National Moot Court Competition, 2025.
The team comprising of Diya Katiyar, Misha and Josefin Mary participated in the Verdictus 2025 1st Annual Law Fest, Navarachna University, Vadodara, Gujarat. The team secured the position of Semi-Finalists and received and token of special mention.
The team comprising of Yohan S Menen, Chhavi Jain and Godavari Sharma participated in the Surana & Surana And School Of Law, Sathyabama Human Welfare (National) Moot Court Competition 2024-25. The team secured the position of Semi-Finalists and were declared as Third Best Team.

The team consisting of Vankayal Tanishka, Shaik Ishrath Sadiqua and Kandukuri Lakshmi Priya participated in Shastrarth Moot court competition 2025, hosted by Bhagubai Changu Thakur College of law, New Panvel. The team secured the position of Semi-Finalists and were ranked top 3 out of 30 teams.
The team comprising of Palak Sinha, Sunidhi Muskan and Sanchit Pandey participated in the S.P Sathe National Moot Court Competiton 2025, conducted by ILS Pune. The team secured the position of Semi-Finalists.
The team comprising of Aastha Jha, Jaya Mahaty Mandalaparthy and Ganesh Vajrapu participated in the 10th SRM IST MOOT COURT COMPETITION 2025. The team secured the position of Semi-Finalists and have been awarded best memorial among 50 teams.
The team consisting of Charu Sabharwal, Nathania Do Rego and Mridusha Chetry participated in 1st City Level Mediation Competition by Reva University, 2025. The Client-Counsel Team [Charu Sabharwal & Nathania Do Rego] achieved the Runners-Up position. Further, Mridusha Chetry, emerged as the Best Mediator.
The team comprising of Chaitanya Sagar Kondikanti and Khwaish Sachdeva emerged as Winners at Crime Scene Investigation Competition 2025 and achieved as Runners-Up at Client Counselling Competition 2025 in the LAWGORITHM-1st National Law Fest hosted by G.H. Raisoni University, Saikheda, Madhya Pradesh.

Nathania Marie Do Rego was awarded the Best Mediator in 2nd National Mediation Competition, 2024, conduction by CMR University, Bangalore.
The team, comprising of Ishita Shukla (4th Year), Charu Sabharwal (3rd Year) and Nathania Marie Do Rego (3rd Year) participated in the NUALS National Trial Advocacy Competition 2025, securing the position of Semi-Finalists.
The outstanding effort of the team comprising of Geethika Katakam, Vunnam Dharani Krishna and M.V. Geethika Reddy (Students of 4th Year) at 1st Varaa Vyno Legal Online Moot have honoured them with the Special Jury Award. Further, Vunnam Dharani Krishna has been awarded the Best Speaker Award.
The team, comprising Lasya C.R. (3rd Year), Ananya Konur (3rd Year), and Rishiraj Nalte (2nd Year), delivered an outstanding performance, securing the runner-up position in a competition that witnessed participation from over 20 teams at Chanakya University, Bengaluru, hosted the 1st National Moot Court Competition, 2024, from 23rd to 24th November
The team comprising of Sakshi Nathini and Pratiksha Gautam emerged as winners of the Negotiation Competition conducted by MIT World Peace University Pune from 25th to 26th Feb 2022.

The team comprising of Kiran Patel, Indra Priyadarsihini and Vishnupriya Prabhakar emerged as 1st runner up at Lex Bonanza National Moot Court Competition 2020 organized by Indore Institute of Law.
The team comprising of Gayatri Prasad Birabara, Burra Bhavya Sri Gouda and Arindam Shit, all 3rd year law students emerged as finalists in 12th KR Ramamani National Taxation Moot Court Competition organized by School of Excellence in Law, The Tamilnadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University.
The team comprising of Kiran Patel and Sejalsri Mukkavilli emerged as 2nd runners up at VITSOL National Moot Court Competition on Constitutional Law organized by VIT Chennai.
The team comprising of Sakshi Nathani, Naman Jain and Sai Srinivas Reddy emerged as the winners in the Client Counselling Competition Competition conducted by MIT World Peace University Pune from 25th to 26th Feb 2022.
